From IT System Architect to academic researcher and university lecturer — a career dedicated to technology, education, and sustainable development.
2010 — IT Career Begins
Started professional career as an IT System Architect in Ho Chi Minh City, working across cloud infrastructure, enterprise system design, and digital transformation projects.
2016 — PhD Research
Began doctoral research in Information Technology, focusing on cloud computing optimization, intelligent load balancing algorithms, and scheduling for distributed systems.
2020 — Higher Education Teaching
Began lecturing at higher education institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, teaching IT subjects including cloud computing, system architecture, and AI applications. Also pursued minor studies in Education, Chinese Language Teaching, Business, and Economics.
2021 — Joined Van Hien University
Joined the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University (VHU) as a full-time lecturer, expanding research into Smart Cities, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Sustainable Urban Development.

Published 'The Smart City Paradox: Flood Resilience in the Making of Thu Duc City, Viet Nam' (2026) — using GIS, hydrological modeling (EPA-SWMM, MIKE FLOOD), and stakeholder analysis to address flood resilience in rapidly urbanizing Southeast Asian cities.
AI & Cybersecurity Innovation
